What it is
Most software splits a life into categories: one app for money, another for health, another for texting your partner. Tendiem treats each as a circle — just the people who share one part of your life, with a private place to show up for it.
These aren’t apps you set up once and forget. They’re for small, regular moments: a reflection, a caregiving shift, something you appreciated, a check-in on a goal. The value is showing up, in a place that’s safe to show up in.
We can’t read what you write. Only the people you name can. It lives on your phone; if it goes anywhere else, it’s locked first.

What makes it different
We can’t read it
Only the people you name can. It lives on your phone. If it goes anywhere else, it’s locked first.
A spare key, not a password reset
Write one down when you start. Lose every phone without it, and nobody — including us — can get you back in.
If someone leaves
They can’t see anything new. You can’t erase what they already read.
Several apps, one idea
Marriage shipped first. Pals and Care are ready to try. Family, money, and friends are next — each its own app, not a copy with the labels swapped.
One more thing
A few more details
- Every circle works with no internet. Going online is how you reach your other devices and the people in your circle — not a requirement to use the app.
- You can walk away with your writing, because it already lives on your phone.
- Writing alone is free. Inviting someone in is paid. Joining when you’re invited is free.
- SimpleFi — the daily money app — is the older sibling. A lot of what Tendiem got right started there.
